What he said. Plus even a less than best Brewster is better than a Brock or Austin.

wlad critics are soooo ridiculous.... who else better then brewster is available for wlad to fight??? peter, oleg, briggs and sultan all have title fights scheduled... chageav just fought and is unlikely to want to fight wlad in his first defense and that's providing king hasnt demanded options on him for fighting valuev like he usually does...

so who does that leave??? byrd, sergie, toney, rahman, brewster and ruiz... all coming off losses....who's the best of that bunch, that wlad hasnt already beaten and that he could avenge a loss too? brewster

Lewis avenging his losses was different, the WBC ordered him to fight Mccall for the vacant belt and he rematched Rahman immediatley after being beaten, this smacks of waiting until the guy is declined and ready for the taking, whats next calling Ross Purrity out of retirement or wherever he is, chasing corrie sanders across the golf course. At least Austin was coming off a draw not a loss.
uh,,,no sir. wlad wanted a rematch right away but according to brewster "wlad didnt deserve one". now who else would you rather wlad fight in july? james toney? chris byrd? tony thompson? lol,,,,,please name me a more dangerous available opponent for wlad this summer

exactly,,,,,plus at least brewsters last loss was a competitive loss in which he dropped serge and nearly had him out in a competive fight. brewster finished the fight on his feet unlike rahman and toney was dominated. yea,,,the haters will always come up with some excuse. they know the circumstances of the last fight between wlad and brew and know its a long shot for brew to repeat so they look for things to discredit wlad before the fight even starts

Anyone with 2 eyes and a justification for a title shot, like winning their last fight! and not having being inative and recovering from a career threatenong serious injury, at least Austin was coming off a draw!
This smacks of Bruno Tyson 2. Bruno had a detatched retina but needed the big payday so didnt retire as he should have before the fight, psychologically he didnt want to take a shot becaus eof that and he cheated his way through the medical. Brewster had eye surgery before the first Wlad fight and before the Sergie fight and now he ha dthis injury, what next Ross Purrity getting a title shot!

uh sugar ray leonard had surgery to repair a detached retina and went on to beat marvin hagler. and this was over 20 yrs ago when many injuries were career enders. brewsters eye is fine now
