How can you not enjoy watching this guy fight? The first round I felt might've gone to the other dude, but damn if JCC doesn't have a beautiful left hook!

He never had an amateur fight, either, went straight to the pros.

Yeah, 2 picture perfect left hooks in that second round. First one sent him down, second one sent him out. In the post fight interview he was using a translator for most of it, but than. At the end he started talking english and said he was gonna stay at 147 for 2 more years and said he is going to be the next welterweight champion.

he defends himself very nicely, and after tonight I think he's prepared to step up a little. The rumored fight with Gatti would be nice because i feel he has the power and technique to really hurt Gatti. His left hook was beautiful, i was very impressed.

As long as he keeps stepping up, he will do very well. His left hook is a great weapon.

JCC Jr's left hook is picture perfect. It reminds me of the Tito Trinidad left hook where opponents seldom saw it coming before it rocked their world. And, just like Tito, he has monter power in the left.

Their styles are similar but it's time Jr stepped it up a bit.
