Could Hearns beat Mayweather?

Mayweather has no chance against Hearns because he's too small and doesn't hit hard enough. And he can't escape Hearns' reach and punching power.

This thread is talking about a 48 year old Thomas Herns, and wether he could beat PBF even now.

Not the Thomas Hearns who had to collect his jaw from lost property after Hagler removed it for him.

Hagler was just a terrible style matchup for Hearns. At least if Hagler is looking to brawl. He broke his hand on Hagler's head. I dont know what you can do about that.

this is a dumb ass topic, this is like asking could whitaker beat julian jackson @ 154? could chavez beat leonard @ 147, mayweather wouldnt lose to hearns because of talent he'd lose because of size, alot of people forget though hearns at 147 was still somewhat GREEN mayweather could defiently go the full 12, the hearns that fought duran was a older more mature hearns

Are you joking? PBF is a joke. He fought Gatti, Judah and Baldo and now he's fighting an old DLH. How can you respect that? And all those rabid PBF fans are slowly realizing what a joke PBF is.

A prime Hearns will kill PBF in the ring. Hearns was a monster, huge and quick with a killer right hand. You can't run effectively if you can't hurt your opponent or unless your opponent is a lumbering turtle like a Baldomir. By this time people should realize PBF is a joke and if ever they fought prime for prime, it will be a dead PBF against Hearns.
