I am a staff writer for Boxingscene.com/PhilBoxing.com, Rick Reeno/Dong Secuya are my respective editors. I just moved down here to Florida earlier this week and wanted to get right into the scene down here in Florida. Believe me, if paid travel was an option, I'd be all over that. Be it as it is, I'm looking forward to being of service to the Florida scene.

Damn, I thought you'd be our NYC correspond and boxing insider for awhile at least. Anyways, I think that Florida's boxing scene has improved in recent years and has been growing in popularity.

Well, I still maintain very close ties to New York. I'm always going to be a New York kind of dude, it's in my blood. I'm just trying to get settled in here and resume my writing while helping to progress the New York scene. It was really cool going to my first fight here and have 5-6 people approach me and saying that they loved my writing. I'm going to fit in here mad cool.

My first article on Florida fighters will be on Nate Campbell, who is making moves big time as of late.

At the fight, I also ran into Travis Simms, for anyone wondering

Morrison may fight Damon Reed in Topeka but i dont know how true this rumor is. i doubt it will happen.
