    Wladimir Klitschko update!

HBO has reserved July 7 for a rematch between IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and former WBO champion Lamon Brewster. Word is the bout will be in Cologne, Germany, however Klitschko's manager Bernd Boente told BILD "I cannot confirm this. Venue and opponent are in each case one of several possibilities." Brewster previously scored a fifth round stoppage over Klitschko in a brutal WBO title war in October 2004.

i know they should fight again, but why now? Wlad should go after other 3 champs. Wlad just fought IBF mandatory challenger(Austin) and he doesn't have to defend his IBF title for a year. Between that time, he should try to get the fight with WBA's giant. Nikolay is fighting WBA's mandatory tonight, if he wins, Wlad & Nikolay could fight around July 21 or 28. Give they giant 5 weeks of rest and he could start training.

        juss a thought....

This is what is probably happening 'behind the scenes;' Klitchko and company have tentatively scheduled a Brewster rematch but will most likely be in talks with Valuev, if he wins today, on an upcoming unification bout. I doubt that the Klitschko-Brewster rematch is anywhere near being finalized as of yet.
