Tarver got the size but he seems that he dont throw too many punchs in a fight. He has no killer instinct but I think if he wants to improve he could go with ES to train him so he could his size more effectively

Antonio Tarver along with Corey Spinks are two of the worst undisputed champs of a respective division I have ever seen.

I want to see Tarver vs. Briggs.

BTW-I think Manny Steward would be a good trainer for just about any fighter in the world.

steward would be good for tarver because he could teach him how to fight tall better. steward really doesn't mess with short fighters, only a few and that is rarely seen.

but he would help tarver focus on his natural advantages with his reach and height, not that mcgirt doesn't but manny is a specialist when it comes to that stuff.

all in all, i personally think tarver has shot his wad and is on the back side of his career. i don't think he has a lot left in the tank of being competitive.

Nah, Manny Steward's vision for boxing aint the same anymore,

He must have been the only guy in the world who reckons the Marquez-Barrera Knockdown was a slip.

            lol.

I hate both of them, and think they both suck ass. And tarver gets noticed because his style ****ed with jones, but other then that tarver sucks ass.

i seen his amateur thing going one with Jirove and that style he should have been using as a pro.

I respect Tarver alot for a guy who came out of crack to become a dispute LHW champ is something you dont see any day as well as he is the 1st guy to give Roy Jones trouble and even KOed him in the 2nd fight. as well starting late does not help. The gives me some motivation to train more and better because it says that it not the age or the circumstance that controls you but you yourself.

as for Roy Jones big respect to fight for 12 rounds for the guy who KOed you on the 2nd.

here is what his style was in good old days:
