Joe Cal. should rematch Manfredo Jr.

It's only right and fair. In addition, if that fight happened in the U.S.A I don't think there's any way Joe can stop Manfredo Jr in 3 rounds.

If the ref wasn't a ****head and let the fight continue just a few more seconds. I bet on my life that all calzaghe needed to do is land one uppercut to finish off manfredo. Manfredo fought exactly like Frank Minton*an opponent joe has fought*. Except Calzaghe took minton out in the first round. But the way peter was defending and throwing next to nothing and block alot of calzaghe punches is the same exact defense Minto had. And Minto actually looked in better shape then manfredo. Only took calzaghe one punch to land and to knock minton on the floor, and minton didn't get up

the first two rounds were more competetive. i dunno what peter was doing, he was staying against the ropes getting hit, he should have known to get outta there

            Calzaghe vs Frank Minton-

Don't pay attention to Mintons losses, I'm talking about the fighting defense style. But they say manfredo has a chin, yet I'm like 90 percent sure this would have been the similar outcome if not stopped.

The first round was competitive, the second round was completely one sided, with Joe Blow nipping in an out and landing combinations.

I wasted 3 months of my life getting excited for Joe v Man and it was over in 3 rounds. I aint wasting no time getting excited for another mismatch.

Manfredo has the momentum and he's been great! Calphagot on the other hand went 12 rounds with his last EASY opponent. And the Lacy victory was overrated because Vitali Tipsy (unknown n00B) beat Lacy more convincingly than Calzaghe did, except he got robbed!

The irony of this ridiculous post is that it actually is rooted in some truth. Manfredo probably does deserve a rematch (of course, he wont get one, quite rightly), not because of a competetive bout or an unfair decision but because of a very premature stoppage and he can go throughout his career claiming that. And people can avoid Calzaghe claiming that he is a protected fighter. All because the ref stopped the fight anywhere between 10 seconds (Calzaghe was going to start scoring as soon as Manfredo got his hands away from his head and started ducking down) to a round early.

And people claim that Calzaghe is protected, that stoppage has done nothing whatsoever but hurt him.
