I know Valuev is much better than Fields, but

you guys exlpain to me why Chagaev will not be able to counter the giant's right hand with a left to the body (like in Rd 1 here), and his jab with a shorter left (like the first KD in Rd. 2):

I just saw him for the first time and Im impressed. Good head movement, good defense overall really. I also like the fact he throws a lot of jabs. I think hes going to win a UD now that I have seen him. He should be able to slip Valuev's punches all night and pick him apart with counters.

Watch him fight Sprott and you'll see him slip and counter much better than he does here. But this is the only fight I could find with enough bodypunching.

        lmfao. that commentary is hilarious.

its very possible. he would do well to go to the body often imo.

You think he can be effective with his jab against NV? He throws different kinds of jabs, doubles them up nicely, etc., but . .

            the commentator was hillarious...

"...and Fields is eh... well I think next to useless personally but thats my personal opinion, you know hes a... not only incredible annoying but he does pick up the odd win now and then... sadly."

            "He went then didnt he."

            "Please stay down Sedrick"

"...and thats put me out of my misery."

I do actually. I think its going to be very important for him to use his jab to get inside. He doesnt even have to land. Just keep throwing those double, triple jabs and slip inside.

What ever happened to Tye Fields? The guy's no world beater, in fact he makes Valuev look like Larry Holmes, but he's got good size, throws a hell of a lot of punches for a hw, and has a decent, but probably padded, pro record 38-1, 34 KOs. Actually, I could see this guy beating some "B" level fighters and as well as being a good 'trial horse' for some of the upcoming U.S. and European prospects. His style is pretty ugly to put it nicely but if you like slugfeasts then this is your guy.

Does Ty Fields have difficulty in finding opponents? He still isn't scheduled. I think because of his size and record, he must be marketable - maybe other heavyweights are ducking him.
