Do you think its Bull**** that Zab Judah fights these bums?

I do. He's done it before. He always does this after a loss or whenever he's bumped out of the limelite. He comes back by beating the **** out of a little nobody who thinks he actually has a chance. He beats and embarrasses these bums and somehow regains fame and contendership. I feel bad for the little bums with sorry ass records who go in there thinking its their chance, which they do have a chance but a very very little one, and get beat and embarrassed. It makes me kind of lose respect for Zab a little bit. I know he's been out for a year but it isn't that long and i'm sure his sparring partners were better than his opponent tonight, Ruben Galvan 27-11-2 (10 ko's).

So do you think its bull**** that he does this?

Zab is far from the only fighter that does this......And I think it is the right move in this case anyway. Is he supposed to just jump right in there with Cotto after a year off?He needs this to sharpen his game and boost his confidence in my opinion.......

No, seeing as he's tuning up for the Cotto fight.

Plus he fought Mayweather last year, and Spinks twice, and Tzsyu. Yeah he fights some complete fodder in between, but is involved in enough big fights for it to not be an issue. I still ****in' hate the guy though, that's why his KO loss to Tzsyu is probably one of my favourite knockouts of all time.

Nothing wrong with beating some bums of the month to regain your confidence. This is what Jeff lacy should have done after his first loss.

No, not when its the build up to a fight with Cotto.

Man the networks aren't dum, they dont want the fight de-valued by Judah Underpreparing and losing again.

So most of you are alright with him beating the **** out of a nobody to tune up with Cotto? Some of you are pretty ******. He's going in there to knock this guy out in the first round, he's not trying to "tune-up" with him. If he wanted a tune up he should've fought someone a little better. I'm not saying someone like Cotto, but someone with less than 5 losses and fewer than 30 wins. Then he could go a good few rounds to tune-up, because beating the **** out of a bum in the first round doens't "tune" you up.

                  No.

Lots of guys take easy fighters coming off a loss. I don't want him to have more ring rust against Cotto, being out for 16 months or so.

Not too many guys are like Mosley or Corrales...coming off a loss to fight and then fighting them immediately in a rematch or taking on another top level fighter.

Calm down. At the end of the day, we've seen what can happen when Zab underestimates an opponent. It's fair to say that he wants to be sure of victory, so that the Cotto fight isn't wrecked by him losing (as the Mayweather fight so nearly was, and it was clearly tarnished.) He just wants a bit of action on the canvas to familiarize himself after so long away- after all, the Cotto fight is only two months away, so he hardly wants to engage in a perilous fight where he might absorb some heavy damage. He wants victory to be already assured to maintain the fight with Cotto, and I can't blame him.
