Jermain Taylor And Winky Wright Are

fighting the best opponents right now ... but they do no make much money at all and their fights aren't very impressive.

    Am I wrong?

but my hat goes off to both because neither one of them are fighting bull**** fighters.

    Wright's resume lately

    Shane
    Trinidad
    Taylor
    Quartey
    now hopkins?
    then Delahoya?
    DAMN.
Wright is someone who will not duck anyone... even though his style is boring as hell and he does not take any risk, he will fight anyone. But will people bring up Wright will they say he was a great champion? or what?

Jermain fights nothin but the top contenders too. BUT his fights are boring as hell.

Mayweather made more fighting corley than wright and jermain made in their last two fights.

I'm trying to dog them or anything , just making a point that fighting the best really means nothin when your talking dollars. You have to be able to market yourself as well and thats something neither wright or jermain taylor do.

You consider Jermain fighting blown jr middleeights in Ouma and Spinks the best fight out there fo him. I think it is pretty pathetic in my opinion.

Winky Wright has become somewhat exciting in his last few outings but I would probably attribute that to the style of his recent opponents (Taylor/Soliman) who like to mix it up.

Expect Bernard and Winky to try and shadow box each other to death and then listen to both men ***** about how they out feinted the other in the post fight, remember folks if you have freinds that are on the fringe of becoming a fan of our sport keep them hidden for Hopkins vs. Wright-its an aspiring fight fans worst nightmare.

Jermain Taylor is a good fighter but he's also a protected fighter!! I think all his handlers are trying to do is pad his record to boost his value. He's fighting Jr middleweights (he lost to Wright) and while he has fast hands doesn't hit hard enough to beat the bigger fighters who would generate big paydays. Heck lets see him fight Jeff Lacy who has no defense and see what would happen there. Kessler, Cazaghe or Miranda would all beat him. I guess there's really no mystery as to why he fights smaller guys. Heck he's so protected if Hopkins had a third fight with him and knocked him out it would be declared a draw!!!

Winky Wright is totally underrated and is already an all time great. He doesn't only have a great resume, he has WINS on his great resume unlike someone like De La Hoya.

The more of these high caliber fights, the more he is climbing up the all time great list.

I agree with winky having a good resume, But Taylor fighting Ouma then Spinks reeks of **** to be honest. Hopkins is past it imo but I understand Winky taking this fight, big payday against a HOF opponent and he will gain more recognition for beating Hopkins than he will probably deserve, so its win win, Whereas Taylor fighting two blown up JMW, I cant see him wanting to fight Calzaghe a big SMW
