I've been in love with boxing since 1971. Of all of the fighters I've read about, seen fight, etc, Hamed is the only one I can't stand. What a jerk...

          Licking his wounds...

For the short time he was around, I think Naz was a better showman than Macho Camacho.

Smaller, but with much more power and big sattelite dish ears.

He had and probably still has a huge fan base in the UK despite having to give back his knighthood patch.

His wild swinging and hopping style was highly entertaining to watch, but Barrera had to put a damper on it.

what a bummer. Boxing needs another Naz.

Maybe another fighter with that type of style, but not that attitude. He was a complete ****.

naseem was never knighted lol, he had one of the lower awards, OBE i think, and that might have been rescinded since he put some guy in a wheelchair for the rest of his life by driving head on into him at 100+mph.

Khan is running the risk of going down the same road so to speak. He's been done for speeding and knocking someone down already - polite twat that he is.

I reckon both Morales and Pac would have beaten Naz. I saw every one of Naz's major fights, and he was troubled loads by even average guys (Daniel Alicea put him on the floor, Manuel Medina - though not average - troubled him loads, Eammonn Magee troubled him). Barrera just took the piss basically, walked forward while Naz walked back, took every ****ty Ali-like jab Naz gave him, and just fought to an easy victory.

Watch Barrera - Morales I and ask yourself - Would Naz have stood up to half the bombs that pair threw at each other?

He never fought Eamon Magee, and Naz wouldnt need to take half of those bombs because his style was completely seperate... elusive.
