    That's just Floyd talking trash.

Oscar had to adjust his style as he moved up in weight and fought bigger guys.

Early on he was more aggressive. He turned into more of a boxer as he's moved up.

He has trouble adjusting mid-fight but he has shown the ability to fight different styles throughout his career.

      These guys aren't one-dimensional.

Even Hatton used some boxing skills in the first half of his last fight before turning into the hugman.
vargas is one dimensional, straight forward, no side to side footwork and no real head movement, i'd say he was one dimensional..............

I just used that as a quote, like I said.. I wasnt watching boxing back when he fought whitiker or in his EARLY days.. I just started in like 1998 so I only go based on what I see.... and everytime I see him, thats how he fight... real stiff, basic 1,2s... and a strong 3... I dont see him feinting, bobbing n weaving, moving his head.. switching to south paw... none of that.. when u see oscar fight... u already know what to expect, its the same from him everytime.. no matter who he fightin

real one dimensional to me (but thats just my opinion)

That's only the recent shot Vargas.

The Vargas of the the 90s and 2000 was different.

Example: he used angles well against Quartey. He attacked at times, backed up at other times, went side-to-side. His feet weren't the quickest, but he used angles fairly well. He even outjabbed Quartey.

yeah, that is true, i guess that got over shadowed by that ladder part of his career, but in fights before that i remember him just as a come forward kind of fighter, although he won those fights, he seemed one dimensional.

so being one dimensional in that case is a good thing, peep his record and his fights if you don't think so......................
It's like larry merchant said, "a fighter may be one-dimensional, but it's a hell of a dimension".

That being said, I thought Pryor used some nice lateral movement against Arguello, dancing on his toes and jabbing, and leaping in and out with shots.
