you make a horrid ****en point here. barrera hitting marquez didn't really play a role in him hitting the canvas, que? so what exactly did make jmm hit the canvas? he didn't slip dude, c'mon, look at the tape. you're worse than ****en jay nady if you think he slipped. jmm was visibly hurt by the punch, it was all the time that jmm had, after the foul, that i think saved him.

Didnt hurt Marquez?LOL...Dude, take a look at their pictures after the fight and tell me again JMM wasnt hurt. His face looked like it just went through a meat grinder.

Imbalance, punch, body feet coordination, call it whatever you like, but the bottomline is he got hurt by an old Barrera.I dont question the fact that JMM won.But im questioning whether he can survive a hit by a prime PAC when they meet. And Im willing to bet he wont.

Got your point buddy. And I agree completely styles makes fights.Im not exactly questioning styles, Im questioning JMM's ability to survive a PAC punch...I was illustrating that MAB, who is not exactly known as a power puncher, will have that effect on JMM, I can only imagine what would happen when its PAC left straight that lands smack on his chin.

I think he has a great chance.

What is Manny P. without that running straight?

Juan Manuel can take it away from him..

              PAC by brutal KO. ;P
Marquez' chin is fine. Barerra had all of his body behind his shot and JMM was coming forward. Those two circumstances will result in a knockdown 90% of the time.

I feel a few years back right after their first fight, the rematch woulda been rounds 2 and up of their first encounter. However though Marquez is still a real force he has lost a step and some of the hand speed he once possesed.

If i was gonna put my money down id put it on Pacquiao. Marquez is a live dog though and u cant count em out, i just think his chances are less now than before.

Exactly my friend! What is Manny P. without that running straight?Thats the Manny P of 2004/2004 that demolished Barrera and had Marquez kissing the canvass 3 times.

Newsflash. The Manny P of 2007 now uses 2 hands, is faster than before, and now weighs 144 pounds on fight night...If I am Marquez, I would be scared, real scared...LOL. ;p

Marquez would be an underdog, but a very very live underdog. I would give him about a 30-40% chance of winning. I would pick Pacquiao, but this is a very interesting and competitive fight if it happens.
