Lets not forget he tore that Cuff in the second round or it would have been straight death for Tsypko......V. Klit quit on his stool in the 11th rd while winning after suffering the same injury.Kudos to my boy Lacy he is a warrior.He needs a tune up before fighting Kessler tho....especially after that kind of injury.

If Lacy becomes a champ again I will be very suprised.

lacy showed real heart in the calzaghe fight and the 2nd fight with tsypko. i don't know if i want lacy to fight kessler, though, kessler has good all around skills, better than lacy's. he'd be better to go after mundine or berrio and get their belts, once the rotator is properly healed, of course

I think Kessler would KO him. Jeff Lacy is 5'9 or 5'10(not 100% sure) and likes to fight on the inside while Kessler trains to fight shorter guys than himself. I see Kessler's footwork and jab/cross being enough to KO Lacy...
Anything could happen though this is boxing, it could go either way.

I'd love to see Lacy come back and win a title just cos he took maybe one of the worst beatings as a respected fighter of recent years.

I just think the rotator cuff surgery and rehab combined with the Calzaghe fight will be a steep hill to climb for Lacy. I wish him the best. Hes still one of my favorite fighters.

I think if and when Lacy comes back then he's going to fight some tomato cans until he gets back some of his confidence and swagger.

It's a pretty serious injury so if he does come back he will probably fight guys he could take easily. I would like to seem him come back strong and maybe later down the road he could challenge Kessler. If he fought him after he recovered Kessler would do the same thing Calzaghe did.
