Joan Guzman vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. 130lbs

Who wins this? I know a lot might not be as familiar with Joan Guzman to understand this matchup. Though, those that do know he's not far behind Floyd in speed or talent. He's incredibly fast, and very skillful. Would be an excellent matchup.
For those not familiar with his style or handspeed...

i diasgree, he is less talented in the ring than floyd mayweather was at 130. the speed, i can see this, because joan guzman has fast hands like floyd had at 130, but guzman was ruthless in his offense, and reminded me more of a shane mosley at 135. but, floyd was a much smarter fighter and had better defense, upper body movement, footwork, and counterpunching timing. guzman had more power than floyd imo but floyd has a much better offense than joan. i would have still like to see this fight nonetheless, because of joan's ability to pressure, and floyd didn't really get pressured effectively too much at 130. i would pick floyd by ud or late tko, because floyd did have great power at 130 especially when it came to bodyshots, and i feel floyd put combinations together better than guzman. but, guzman is a fighter with great boxing skills and great power at 130.

Just Cuz Flyd Has A Better Defense Dont Make Him A Smarter Figher.. In The Judah Fight If Roger Wasnt Yellin Walk Him Dont Pressure Him . He Probably Would Of Lost .. It Was Roger Who Made Floyd Adjust.. You Could Tell On Flyds Face He Didnt Wanna To Walk Him Down.. I Think Floyd Fears Roger

first of all, we're talking about 130 pounds dumby, pay attention. he probably would have this, would have that, yadayadayada, would of, could've, should've, but didn't. your post had nothing to do with the thread. i never claimed that because floyd has better defense he was the smarter fighter. his defense was just another attribute i felt he had better than guzman. what are you talking about? and yes, floyd was the smarter fighter at 130 than joan, and not only because of his defense, because of his timing, and ability to counterpunch at the right time too. floyd's overall offensive/defemsive arsenal was better than guzman's and this was due to his smarts in the ring. he knew when to throw effective punches and his punch output proves this, because he didn't reaaly throw too many punches a round, but his accuracy was high a lot of the time. this is due to his ring savvyness, and yes, it does have to due with being a smart fighter. floyd also had tremendous footwork and body positioning and knew where to be majority of the time to throw combos and counterpunches as well as lead right hands. he would have defeated guzman imo due to all of this, plus add his speed, athleticism, and power into the mix, guzman would not have beaten floyd imo at 130.

Guzman is a very skilled fighter. He is fast and has good boxing skills but he doesn't have much power at 130.He was one of the most feared punchers in the world at 122 where he began his career but since leaving the division almost all of his fights have went the distance.Floyd at 130 was a monster and would have won every round on every scorecard on his way to a tko victory.

I don't think there's a 130lb'er in history that Floyd COULDN'T beat. I'm not saying he would beat every great 130lb'er in history, but he definitely had that capability.

At 130, Floyd was the perfect fighter.

              Great power.
              Great speed.
              Great defense.
              Great combination punching.
              Great accuracy on his punches.
              Great footwork.

A super green, inexperienced, 19-23 year old Mayweather absolutely dominated a pretty damn good division at the time.

And yes, Floyd undoubtedly beats Juan Guzman
