Does anyone know if this fight will happen on the previously scheduled June 2 date? I hope it happens by July; I'd hate to wait until mid summer for this fight.

I read somewhere that the WBC is ordering the fight to happen before August; I just hope the don't take that literally procrastinate this fight to then. I think June or early July would be good.

if anyone is 10x times better since there last fight its wlad. what makes you think peter is much better? becuase he was able to jab a shot old fat toney that couldnt get away from his own 2 feet? wlad has shown improvement over several fights. he beats peter even worse in a rematch in my opinion

I think that both fighters have improved significantly but Peter especially. In his last fight, Peter improved in his stamina, output, accuracy, and defense. Infact, if you compared Peter's performances in the first fight with the second Toney fight the improvement is almost night and day.

As with Klitscko, I think that his main improvement is that he's much more confident and dangerous. IMO, if a rematch were to happen now, Klitschko would win via KO.

However, give Peter a couple more big wins and I think he closes the gap and this becomes a much closer, competitive, and entertaining rematch.

If all goes to plan, and I hope it does, Peter wins the WBC title, defends it against Vitali and then meets back up with Wladimir sometime next year.

haha no hes not, how is he better? Winning a gift decision against Toney in the first fight doesnt exactly make him a better fighter, he was ouworked and outboxed by Toney in the first fight, I dont get how 2 fights against a non puncher like Toney make u better, Toney is way past his prime and his best fight at HW was a draw with Rahman. Peter can punch but thats it, he has no other skills
