How is he overrated, most people don't even know Kessler, anyone that knows a little about boxing can tell you he's a great boxer.

No he's not overrated and no he's not ducking Calzaghe, he's been wanting to fight Joe for a while now.

Joe's too fast and too shifty for kessler... kessler just going too keep defending his tittle too up and comers who arent ready for a tittle fight.... Kessler can only cross so many bridges before they all start falling down and the day he signs a contract too fight a well known opponent thats when you'll see him fall
The nature of the sport i guess... Although i bet there are plenty who think that Kessler is the best thing since sliced bread, but Calzaghe is over rated etc. Compare both career records and who's would you say looked better?
Eventually a Calzaghe V Kessler fight must happen, and Calzaghe will win IMO.

This is coming out of the blue. Kessler rarely even gets talked about. How is he overrated?

A Mundine rematch instead of Andrade? You got to be out of your mind.. So is that the only thing he should have done different?
Kessler had a bag injury, and only went 30 rounds of sparring the week before that fight. That is a fact.

            Mundine, who cares.

Nobody around here claims Kessler to be a level above Calzaghe (exept maybe one), but he has proven himself worthy of fighting Joe, and that more than you can say about his last two opponents.

Kessler is definitely not overrated. If you watched the fight with Andrade all of his skills were on display. Quick hands, good defense, and also trying to put on a show for the crowd. Granted Andrade was a statue just standing there and taking the punches, but Kessler did what he had to do against a lesser opponent. Would I say that Kessler would dominate Joe, definitely not, but he would give Joe the fight of his life. Calzaghe said he would dominate Kessler the way he did Lacy. Kessler is a lot better all around then Lacy and if I had to pick now between Joe and Mikkel. I would take Kessler in a SD.

Kessler isn't over rated I don't think. I believe he has potential to a good fighter, he's yet to be tested by a great fighter. He dealt with Mundine with out much trouble and he's fast. He's not ducking Joe, that's just a very uninformed statement one would have to say.

kessler has already beaten quality opposition - mundine, beyer ( well, ok, beyer is garbage but he was WBC champ ), and siaca. kessler is a very skilled boxer - puncher, he's nothing like lacy

Where is the grounds for a Rematch. It wasn't a close fight at all. For the record Kessler would do much better in a rematch with out injury. Mundine had his shot and blew it.
