pavlik has a good chance in this fight because of his skills, he's a good boxer puncher. pavlik has a good chin, but he's never been hit with miranda's kind of power, so we'll have to see how he takes it. but whatever he does, he can't fight scared like allen green did. green is not a better boxer than pavlik, he's just faster. speed isn't everything though, we've seen speed demons like zab judah lose to slow guys like baldi.
pavlik's best win is against jose luis zertuche. zertuche is a top 20, maybe even top 15 middlweight in the world and pavlik beat him up and knocked him out. jermain taylor can't fight on the inside, either pavlik or miranda will KTFO jermain taylor, the only difference is, miranda will beat him up and then KO him, pavlik will school and humiliate him then knock taylor out

he didn't really beat hopkins, he got a gift decision against Hops in the first fight, i thought taylor won the second, and another gift decision against wright. if winky had power in his punches that fight would have turned out a lot different - taylor would have been on his back. pavlik is a hard hitter and his skills are better than taylor's, well, except for the jab, but that's all taylor has - a great jab. pavlik has a great hook and uppercut, he can fight on the inside and the outside, taylor can only fight on the outside. ****, little jr middle kassim ouma was roughing taylor up on the inside, if was a true middleweight he would have knocked taylor out

I am surprised you are so high on Pavlik. I'm not saying he is not good, but until he really fights someone decent, how can you be sure? Taylor has at least fought the best in the world. This clown looks about 5 feet 140 pounds fighting as a MW. He lost his last fight before Pavlik against a guy I'm sure his own family doesn't even know his name. Pavlik nor any of his opponents have been in the same ring with an elite fighter.

(You don't see people walking around saying the Charlotte Bobcats will sweep the San Antonio Spurs in a playoff series do you?)

I can't wait until Miranda dismantle this sorry clown Pavlik. I will never call a fighter elite if he hasnt faced elite competition. Pavlik opponents are so horrible, his last 4 opponents has a COMBINED 26 losses! Miranda, Taylor and any other half-elite fighter would easily beat Pavlik.

Lets not forget, Zertuche had faced some top level opponents before Pavlik, but had never been knocked down. Pavlik knocked him out! Zertuche was maybe ranked top 20 to 15, but his chin would be rated much higher (kind of like Andrade). Pavlik has at least as good of a power punch as Miranda, maybe better.

I can hardly wait for this fight!
