De La Hoya - Mayweather gloves

I hear a lot of fuzz about reyes making sure pbf's hands will break, but...

dont the gloves have 2 oz extra padding anyways? doesnt that more than make up for the shape and consistency of the padding?

the padding is on the wrist i think not on the knuckles, i think that would be a problem for pbf

Mayweather hurt his hands against Carlos Baldomir, allegedly.

He was using 10oz. Grant gloves.

The Reyes should be an even greater potential liabilty to his hands.

It makes no sense to me.. Mayweather is taking an added risk.

He's being very confident or a little foolish - or very foolish.

        Small ring, worst gloves, ect.

Oscar needs to do what he can to have some kind of advantage so he wants certain gloves.

Floyd wasn't forced to wear anything... He chose to wear Reyes. If he would have bargained for the Winning it would have happened. They wouldn't cancel the fight of the century over some gloves. He even said himself he just signed the contract without looking at it... Thats on him, no one else. If he feels he can beat Oscar at his own game and does.. then more power too him! But for being the NUMBER ONE P4P AROUND.. Gloves shouldn't matter.

If Mayweather gets hurt - which he seems to everytime he's not wearing Winning - then we'll know he was being impulsive and thoughtless.
