He was old, 4 years past his prime, coming off some major injuries, and he got his big payday in his last fight. He'll never fight again...

Kosta was old and past his prime when he fought Hatton..he was just looking for one last payday in that fight.
So,he 'sold' the belt to the biggest moneymaker....

And I did not even know Hatton going into that fight...and I picked Hatton.

          Here's a clue...old champion,young and up-coming fighter,undefeated...fighting in the young bucks home,old champ coming off injuries and lay-off...

          DO THE MATH!!!!

            Exactly.

To this day I still consider Kostya Tsyzu a hand picked fight for Hatton. Just look at the circumstances. If there was ever a better time to fight a champion, this was it. And with the ref allowing Hatton's roughhouse tactics, Tsyzu just had no shot to even win a decision in Hatton's backyard...

I just want to know why Ricky Hatton has looked like absolute **** since leaving Manchester. If he wants to fight in the US, he should strictly fight in San Francisco where his manhugging tactics will get him cheers...

I bet if it was an American fighter who had beaten Tszyu you would still be raving to this day. Hatton beat the man at 140, a man who was probably 1 or 2 in everybody's top P4P list..someone had to beat him and i bet if it was an American you'd still be ranting and raving to this day. Your an idiot.

Tsyzu is one of my favorite fighters of all-time. I didn't want anyone to beat him. And he wasn't in the top 3 P4P at the time of the Hatton fight. That's a joke if I ever heard one. He was top 5 P4P, but everyone took him off their list completely for inactivity due to his 2 year lay off...

You still defend Kostya but even after the fight the man himself said he'd lost to the better fighter so why persist with ya **** talking? The fact is, whether you like it or not Tszyu was beat. Whether he was past his prime or whatever bull**** you wanna say is irrelivent, The better man won on the night. END OF!

Tsyzu is a true champion and he wouldn't use excuses to lessen Hatton's accomplishment even though he could have...
