I actually wanna see LACY-MANFREDO...

I thought manfredo was doing alright up until Calzaghe really opened up.

Manfredo just wasnt mature enough to handle the speed, wasnt good enough yet. He froze and he really didnt know what to do.

But i think it was a real wakeup call and maybe a good learning experience.

Anyway, i think a LACY-MANFREDO fight on maybe HBO BAD would be sweet.

Manfredo had some good defense in that fight. Until the end when he was basically just moving his head and not even looking at the punches.

Its a way for LACY to try to get back into the spotlight and a way for Manfredo to redeem himself.

I think Lacy would win by KO, but i think it would be a great fight up until that point.

I havent seen nearly enough of Lacy to really analyze the fight though. I saw him in his Pro Debut, him getting beat up by Calzaghe, and that fight where he injured his shoulder.

So could someone who HAS seen Lacy fight a bunch, say what they think this fight would be like, and how Manfredo would fair?

I actually want to see peter manfredo, and calzaghe without some ref stopping a fight before it starts. Maybe if joe wasn't a ***** and fought in america, no sane ref would have stopped the fight that early

the last thing third tier manfredo wants to do is take on lacy.
give peter more time.
i personaly feel he's relagated to being a good tuneup fighter for top contenders and for up and comers. sort of like gatti and ward. nothing more with the highclass boys on the scene now.
he can always make money on the east coast and with casual boxing fans.
he has a future!
