Why would Calzaghe set a date for July if he really wants this fight? He isn't known for frequent fights himself.

Well, Warren stated it was turned down due to the date. He's many things is Frank Warren, but he doesn't downright lie in public. So, I can only assume that money wasn't the issue and Kessler has always said that location isn't an issue. It's strange.

For the record, I think all promoters/managers at the top level are all parasites. Including Warren.
