amir khan is 20 ****in years old and has already accomplished quite a bit in his boxing career along with racking up 12 wins as a pro... how the hell can he be overrated? hes gonna be fighting on the worlkd stage before he is 21 old enough to drive a car

its just like people saying juan diaz is overrated, he is 31-0, a world champ with 5 defenses to his name, only 23 years old.... if he retired tomorrow he would have accomplished things that a lot of very good fighters never did...

why do people feel the need to say negative things about these young kids who are doing everything they can and beating everyone put in front of him

like i said though, thats to no fault of his own, warren knows he has a potential cash cow and hes not gonna let him get knocked out when hes 20.. he is a boy in a mans game... he certainly has to have an ego and i "i cannot be beaten" mindset at this point in his lfe.. of course he has great skills but he is much better served to be moved slowly considering, as i said before, if he fights for a world title 3 years from now he will still be a very young fighter

i dont really see him as being so highly rated as to possibly be overrated either, maybe its cause youre english you hear a lot and cause we have a lot of brit posters here.. but i dont think hes getting talked about a lot on the worldwide scene quite yet

i believe warren said khans next fight would be for a title and then the commentator mentioned the commonwealth...so i assume they are already negotiating with limmond which would seem the next logical step.

but he can't be considered the best lightweight in britian until he beats thaxton...you got to beat the man to be tha man.
