Anyone heard how Van Goodman did? I fought him in the amatuers... I lost by a split decision but I thought I won. Oh well, I was surprised to see that he finally turned pro.

I've only seen Butler fight once.He lost a six round decison to Jason Gavern who is a decent fighter.Looking at his record he has two ko losses prior to this fight and the decision loss to Gavern.I didn't see the fight but reading about it seemed to be a stamina related loss after putting his opponet down three times in the first he just blew his load and got stopped because he was exhausted. He seem to be a big puncher with poor stamina. In his fight with Gavern he came out guns blazing in the first round didn't get his man out of there and faded.I don't recall him winning another round of the fight. So maybe if he works on his conditioning he can still make some noise in the division or maybe he just has a bad chin and needs to develop better defence.

Did you see his eyes after round 3?

That wasnt normal....his eyes were rolling into the back of his head and he was breathin so hard that you could hear it on the camera man.

That **** didnt seem right...Either he was outa shape, or this guy only has enough energy for 2 rounds lol. Thought he had food poisoning or somthing.

He needs to fix his stamina, cause hes got fluent and fast hands, he can rip **** up. just needs to get his stamina in check

Chazz is alright, but I'm not sure how far he'll go in the sport. He's a nice enough guy and has decent skills, but I'm not sure he has the fighting heart to take it to that next level. Right now he fights like a guy with a college degree and other choices in life.

I'd put him in their with Butler in a heartbeat, though (trying to keep this relevant to the thread). Butler is a one-round fighter. It's not that his conditioning sucks, it's that he's useless once the second round starts. He reminds me a lot of Andre Purlette in that regard.

Baserocks - I agree, Estrada isn't much, he'll fall in line just like every other US Olympic heavyweight in recent memory. The fact that he fights at heavyweight to begin with is his downfall. If he actually trained, he could make cruiserweight with ease. I thought it was disgusting that Tessitore and Atlas were kissing up to him, praising his conditioning last night just because he didn't show up looking like Jabba the Hut as he has in previous fights.

i know that was bad, man the only round that was exiciting was round 1 after that i was watching some baseball i thought that butler had one the fight on pts cuz it was boring, but on the last round he ran out of gas,
damn i was shocked.........hey let me tell you something they should send that ref. back to school that was bad, butler spit his mouth piece after the knock down the ref. started counting and placed the mouth piece in butler's mouth, you just dont do that, that's bad judgement

....The guy that beat him looked like sloth for the "Goonies". Butler is horrible. I give the polish guy credit for staying in there and taking the fight to him in the later rounds. Walker isn't gong anywhere either. He was close to also getting caught in the later rounds. If the guy fighting him could punch he would have been KO'd for sure. He left his chin hanging out there for an eternity on many an occasion but his opponent missed with his shots.

agreed butler and walker are nothing... cant believe that these are the same guys who knocked down vitali klitschko cause i think they are both very mediocre..

butler lacks stamina and heart to an extreme degree, he said himself this fight would determine if he continues boxing..

walker lacks polish of any kind and is more of a physical sepcimen than anything.... i was in vegas watching his fight with jason gavern and people were laughing at his wild swings and amateurish style
