I guess this whole thing doesnt really affect the fight, cause they are the same weight.

But its shocking that two worldclass fighters that have been doing this for a long time, can drop the ball so badly.

Diego looks at his trainer in disbelief right after he weighs in.

Oh, and i noticed something sorta fishy about the video. Wait until after CLOTTEY weighs in and the guy says 151. Then a guy in the backround goes "Hey! Hey! ****... ****... (whispers) write it down as 49..."

Anyone else hear it? listen closely RIGHT after Clottey weighs in... idk what thats all about

Why isnt this a big deal? BOTH fighters coming in a great deal above the weight limit. Corrales only by 2 pounds, but Clottey a whopping 4 pounds.

But nothing at all on the internet...

This favors Clottey a Great deal if Clotteys power and Corrales chin play big roles in the fight. AND they should.
Thanks I was sort of wondering.

I just don't see Corrales winning this fight. Clottey has a nice left hook. Very fast. Im getting flashbacks when Floyd knocked Corrales down with them fast ass left hooks. This fight might go the distance is Corrales boxes... Moving up in weight shouldn't be that much of a problem.. But I don't see Clottey getting KO'ed.

I will pick Clottey by UD or even a 7th round KO.

It's just a 10-round non-title fight. For such fights, there usually isn't a hard weight limit - meaning that they don't have to make the welterweight limit. Usually it's an agreed-upon contracted weight, which I;m sure is the case here.

I'm a little confused about Clottey's weight (151), being reported as the same as Chico, and why Chico and/or his handlers wouldn't make an issue of it if in fact he was above the contracted limit. Chico needs every advantage possible; if he's above the limit (which I'm guessing is 149 +/- 1 lb.), then they should've made Josh sweat off the extra 1-2 lbs.

the fight must have been at a catch weight because no one moaned when he said that chico weighed in at 149 or when clottey weighed in at 151.3, but what was old boy telling that guy to change it to 149????
