What do you think would happen if Oscar lands the same left hook he hurt Vargas with. Do you think Floyd's chin is strong enough to withstand a big hook from Oscar,or do you think he has to stay away from that punch all fight without getting nailed full force with it? Sugar Shane was able to take the hook at times and come right back at Oscar .

That's hard to say. Floyd's taken some pretty hard shots and never went down (Like on his butt).
I know he's taken some hard shots from Castillo, Corley, and Judah, but he's never really been hurt.
At the higher weight, Oscar will bring some good power.
And I'm sure Floyd's conditioning himself to withstand those power shots.

Personally i think he would knock Floyd out with that shot if he lands it the same we he landed it on Vargas. The problem is it's not easy landing a shot that Floyd knows is your best punch. He is such a quick and intelligent fighter.Comment

The big word is IF. Floyd will know to look out for that punch, and will not enage with Oscar without using any defense like Mayorga. If Floyd gets caught on the ropes he can move or block shots and still fight back. Floyd looks comfortable anywhere in the ring. He's only really been hurt once by Corley and layed on the ropes and got his mind right while Corley could land nothing else.
I think Oscar would be making a big mistake if he tries to come in the first 2-4 rounds and just outwork Floyd throwing many power shots. We'll see how much he has left in that 35 year old body.Comment

I have officially backed Mayweather for the win.
Why?..
Because I've read between the lines and understood Floyd will "run" to victory if nescessary based on his comments during promotion.
Oscar is already in aggressive mode.
I think that's a mistake.

You mean Floyd will counter and move to victory. Running is what fighters do when they are hurt.
In example when Baldomir was catching Judah he was running with his back turned.
Floyd was landing 3 or 4 punches and moving to evade any response from Baldomir.
