i agree with you a 100%, corrales even before fighting castillo the first time was killing himself to make weight, i remember seeing one more than one occasion of chico being carried off the stage after weighing in from being so drained.
**** in his last fight against casamayor he went 7 days prior to the weigh in on eating one salad and ice for 7 ****ing days, then weighed in tried to make weight, didn't and still fought.
how the hell he even lived after trying to make weight is anyones guess.
but my thing is chico has been fighting his whole career handicapped by the weight issue, with his frame he should've been fighting no less than 140 and he's been fighting at 130 and 135! but the way i look at it he's been fighting his whole career under a 100% health, now that he doesn't have to kill himself we might see and hopefully see corrales at his best, at least at his best physical self without the drained look.
i mean **** he'd fight 4-5 rounds before you'd see any sweat and i'm not even sure it was sweat probably just water being poured on him in the corner. but that is how drained and dry chico as been the majority of his career, so drained he would'nt and physically couldn't break a sweat, that is ****ed.
how the hell he fought and had the career he's had fighting under those circumstances is amazing in itself.............
i really hope chico pulls this one out.
