yeah so over matched he went up in weight and snached a cruserweight title, while Michalczewski loses his title to Julio Cesar González

......When Dariusz fought Hill it was 1997 when he fought Gonzalez it was 2003. Thats 6 years and alot of miles on Dariusz. You make it sound like it all happened in the span of like 3 months. Dariusz is not the same fighter now that he was in 1997. That was my point and I think you missed it.

do you know what this means .

it means unification is just around the corner.

...Not as long as King controls the other three belts. IMO he will protect his other three guys and keep milking his cash cow. Vitali is not about to give King options for him being allowed to unify the belts. I don't think the Universum thing will mean much as far as unification goes. I hope I'm wrong because I would love to see Vitali unify the belts starting with the IBF.

As much as i dont like Byrd i can appriciate his skill and effort. Byrd definitely has an edge in this fight especially with Don King around. Man,, if byrd had a little more power...
                Too bad he does not.

I respect your opinion, its nice to see a poster respect the skills of a fighter even though you don't like that fighter.

I feel the same way, I still think a 6'2 or 6'3 fighter with decent handspeed and some power could clean out the division. I do respect Byrd's attributes and wish nore people appreciated them. It's called boxing for a reason, that's why they have trading licks lol

I am not a Byrd fan, but if he could overcome Mccline's reach and height advantage, I would be really impressed, not that I count for **** lol
