lol, like I'm gonna believe anything he says. Didn't he also say he wants Wlad too. His handlers won't let him face anyone legit until he breaks the record. Even then he still might not face anyone good. He's a joke, nothing he says means anything.

This guy is not only a joke, but is also the most obvious alt I've seen in quite a while.

Bollocks, are you trying to say Valuev has fought more credible opponents than Calzaghe lb 4 lb.Not one of his challengers should have been in the top 15 so far.
Back on the subject, fair play to Valuev if he takes this fight but i dont give him much chance. He would suffer a terrible beating.

we aint gettin a unified champ for awhile. They all talk it leading up to a fight, but once the fight is over they throw out mandatory and challengers name and seem to forget they were calling out the champs.

I'm not saying Valuev will win, I hope he gets beaten by the russian. But last I checked Vitali was a greater threat to Valuev than Manfrodo is to Calzone.

I'd like someone to 'dispatch' of big brother Vitali so that we can hopefully have Wlad start unifying the division.

Just think of this scenario: 1) Peter destroys Maskaev and becomes WBC champ 2) he then goes on to destroy Vitali in his first defense, 3) Early to mid 2008 Peter and Wlad meet in a hw 'super-fight' that has more story-lines than a Dr Seus book. Unification....Peter's avengence of his loss....Wlad revenge for his brother. Boxing gods are you listening!!!!!!!!
