He has a nice lot of names on his resume but he seemed to find them all the most opportune times. McCall beat knocked him out and mystically quit the scond time around. A totally mediocre fighter in Rahman knocked him out. He had just become champion at that time when lost so no excuses that is supposed to be his prime. If Golota wanted to fight him it would have been no first round no knockout to say the least. A Holyfield who had come out of retirement and heart trouble, his crowing achievement. Tucker past his best. Ruddock coming off two losses to Tyson. All carefully managed, Tua is actually slower than he is. He beat Morrison and Mercer and not easily.

Tyson always downplays himself. He was never comfortable with praise, for some psychotic reason.

No, he was giving an honest assesment of himself. Deal with it. Tyson loves praise just as much as any other top athlete.

I see Tyson wrestling his way out of clinches to jump and land and shake him up on numerous occasions for three or four rounds to the point where Lennox is unsteady in the middle rounds and soon taken out.

I really think Lennox would struggle to get his jab landing, and if he was too hesitant in not putting a right hand behind it he just wouldn't last too long.

Was it Lewis' fault McCall quit? Or that he broke Golota in one, the same Golota who was coming off two brutal beatings that he gave Bowe. Ruddock that may have lost to Tyson, but gave him trouble and went the distance, only to be broken in two by Lewis. Was it me or was Holyfield holding two heavyweights titles when he lost to Lewis, and coming off not one, but two wins over Tyson and KO win over Moorer. That old heart!

Tyson's career can be picked apart just as easily. Rahman and McCall on their worst day are better than Buster Douglas. He beat an old Burbeck, an old Michael Spinks, an old Holmes. How many of Tyson's opponents were scared to death before he ever reached the ring? And those that stood up to him and backed him up, like Douglas, Holyfield and Lewis - beat him.
