I think Maskaev may surprise a lot of people. Despite being 38, he'll do fine in the later rounds, since he keeps himself in excellent condition. Although Peter is very strong and punches hard, Oleg is the better boxer and also hits hard.

That won't surprise me. Everyone thinks peters so great because he beat a fat out of shape toney. While anyone could have done that, maeskav could have. Toney is nothing like he use to be. I honestly never thought he should have been in the heavy weights to begin with, he's not a natural heavy weight at all.

not so fast, i think thats the popular opinon but i feel it will be a great fight and i think it will go the distance and maskaev will win a close decision..

peter failed to knock out shufford, pudor, hawkins, klitschko, toney....

how can anyone be so sure he knocks out maskev? who is a tough SOB

I agree that peter's power is overrated but I feel he will stop makeav but not before the mid to late rounds and I think maskeav will be more competitive than most think

why the hell not? peter hasnt been able to knock out durable heavyweights and Im sure vitali watched his brother box his ears off. thanks for the comdey though caveman

This fight could go either way, both fighters are punchers who worry about getting a knock out more then winning a decision. It will be easier for Peter to hit Maskaev then was the case with Klitschko or Toney but we will see what happens. Based on most recent fights Peter should be able to get the win but who knows
