Joe Calzaghe might leav Roy in a coma. Roy is arguably suffering the affects of multiple-concussion syndrome right now. Seriously...I goit tired of watching Roy fight Ajamu's and Hanshaw's in his prime while acting interested in bigger fish...at 38, this **** is just trite.

This is the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. RJ ducking Calzaghe? Man please. That is so ******. Why would he have to do that. Then you guys are acting like he's chasing Joe now? Joe is no different then Hatton. Everyone sweats them as nice guys but there the 2 ****iest bastards in boxing. They swear everyone is running from them but yet there the one's with hardly any big names on there resume.

RJ has ducked Joe for 10 years but he fights HW's and guys like Tarver? Its a joke

Calzaghe throws too much punches for Roy and has the southpaw benefit, i doubt Roy can beat him, as sad as it is.

He can't now, he dodged joe calzaghe for years.
Don't believe everything Joe tells you. That's a load of crock.

Joe was content to stay overseas and would never leave the UK to fight Roy. I doubt he would do it now even though Roy is washed up compared to his former self.

Roy fought plenty of good fighters, and gave the boxing world a treat by stomping all over Ruiz. Many people picked against Roy in that fight. Now credit has to be given. And he fought a man thrice that beat him, and showed great heart in the 1st fight even when looking like a corpse.

The name on Roy's list are plentiful. Factually, it is silly to blame him for all the fights that did not happen. Many of those fighters wanted no part of him and admitted as much. Others were content to stay overseas.

Roy did not have to go overseas, and that was fair given his status. Just like Hatton is the champ now at 140 and Castillo should go over there IF Hatton had asked for it to be that way.

            Period.

Is it me, or has Roy Jones become very irrelevant to the sport these days? Nobody cares or is really excited about him fighting anymore IMO.

That is what happens when you fall so far like he did. From greatness to just 'good' was a FAST fall.

But what he did cannot be taken away, and he is one of the greatest ever in his prime. Sometimes I wish he would retire though. But if he does fight, he should fight decent guys like Hanshaw to show that he is not washed up, then go for a title and QUIT.

i wanna see how he'll preform .. roy has alot of power thats keeps fighers honest and if your not willing to get hit coming in hell pop shot u to death.. even at this age he'll pop shot anybody that doesnt pressure him to death.. or a south paw who is taller and bigger with enough speed to catch him coming in using there height.. calzaghe gets wild when he gets hit and is the same height as roy.. not a good match up for broadway joe

I'm already on the Holyfield comeback bandwagon. Holyfield generates geniune excitement, Jones generates boredom.
