World Boxing had an article about the 20 Greatest Puerto-Rican Fighters Of All Time. They have Wilfredo Gomez #1 and Felix Trinidad #2.Having read this article many times I would agree with the rankings of the two best fighters from PR.They give it to Gomez because he was the more complete boxer-puncher.

the intentional punch to the nuts was more devastating and effective, it saved him from KTFO

greatest Boricua boxer is Wilfredo Gomez, then Benitez

I think Trinidad was the most accomplished. He wrecked people from 147 to 160 and fought the biggest names in his weightsclasses of his time. Carr, Campas, Camacho, Whitaker, De La Hoya, Joppy at the time was good, Vargas, Reid, Mayo, Hopkins, Wright. Only lost outside of his natural weight class.

Camacho needs to be on the list too.

I agree with Gomez and then Trinidad. I've read a lot of good names but, no love for Edwin Rosario? I know drugs got the best of him but so did Pryor, Sweet P and many other greats and they seemed to be remembered by their career before drugs. That right hand from Chapo was nasty!
