now i dont know, this is a bad style matchup for winky.

Jones has still too much movement, too many angles and he would be the bigger man (who used to knock out middleweights like flies). and if even if jones gets hit by winky, winky is not gonna hurt him.

I agree with you on that one. Jones lost the last fight with Tarver because he was gunshy. He was afraid of getting KOd again. We all know that Winky doesn't have much power, so I think Jones would fight more confortably with him. In Jones/tarver 3, I think it was the 5th round where we saw a glimpse of the old Jones. If he has more rounds like that, he should win a UD easily, maybe even KO Winky.

ummmm. I dont know if you got the memo, but your boy, Roy, got knocked out by Glen Johnson. Tarver aint all that either. Winky is a higher class fighter than either of those dudes, but Winky cant knock nobody out. Honestly I dont like neither of them.

Bingo, ****o, bongo. Jones would probably still win it today because he's just much bigger than Wright and wouldn't be phased by Winks punches. Not really a knock on Wright...more a testament to how good Roy is if he can go 12 hard rounds without being hurt.

Roy in his prime blasts Wright out in 8 rounds. Too quick, too powerful, too good. Roy was something else in his prime. I have just begun appreciating Roy again. In fact...move over Carl Winslow.
