It was never going to be on PPV, it was part of HBO's 3 fight deal.

I think hbo also wants a large audience to see Hatton in a exciting fight because they are hoping that he could be a big ppv draw for them down the road. His two fights on hbo have been less than thrilling so far and i think hbo is hoping this fight could make him big in the states if its a war as most think it will be.

This is good news. Hoping for Castillo to win this. About time he get credit. He won that fight against Mayweather. Then he should just retire if he wants. He's had some great fights.

                yea... so?

an HBO deal means its just going to be shown with HBO, could have been HBO, HBO PPV or even BAD...

And there was talk about this being PPV

If tyhis was showtime it would be a ppv. besides hbo stated that they are going to do a lower amount of ppv views for 2007 because they flooded 2006 with PPVs. They want the max buys for each ppv. they want to avoid people going " I want to see this fight but I rather order next month's PPV. They will be 3 more hbo PPVs this year and that mioght be it. 4 tops.
