Is Jermain Taylor a true champ?

He could lose the 2 fights with Hopkins also he could lose his fight with Wright and he couldnīt KO Ouma and did look slow and buring...

I think Taylor may lose in every moment.

Sure he is a champ, although I felt he should be 1-1 with Hopkins he still beat one of the greatest MW of all time. Give credit to Ouma for having a rediculous chin but just b/c he couldn't KO him doesn't mean anything. I also felt he lost to WW but that fight really was too close to call. He beat B-hop who was the champ and defended his title so yes, he is a true champ.

      Well define a true champ?

I think Taylor is hungry, and he earned the titles. Its not like he robbed Hopkins. It was a very close fight and it could have gone either way. Many fights are like that.

The fact that it was even close, let alone in Taylors favor, shows his talent.

And he's entertaining, has a lot of heart, and he's good for boxing.

I guess its what u look at as a true champ. I think he is, but i also think he won both hopkins fights and i scored the Wright-Taylor fight a draw...

        Yes, he's a true champ.

An ugly champ, but a champ.

He's the true champ. When you beat Hopkin's twice, even though both fights were close and could have gone either way and fight to a draw with Wright you earned the right to be champ. Both were ranked high in the P4P rankings at the time and both are probably hall of famers. I know he didn't knockout Ouma or seem to be progressing in his boxing skills, but until somebody beats him for real he is the champ.

He is a champ, but being protected from looking like a champ. Dibella needs to let him fight the winner of Miranda vs Pavlik to get the respect he deserves of being a champ.

                You kidding right?

The only major flaw in JT's game is that he doesnt use his size and impose it on the upper echelon fighters. He could have knocked out Joppy but didint why? because he doesnt impose himself on the other fighter. He should have been doing it to ouma and ouma was doing it to him. What Jt has been doing is back up and back up and unleash a fury of punches and go back to do the same with a very occasinal jab. he needs to use his jab more(which goes hand in hand with putting pressure on the other fighter).

BTW That was my 1st post.

taylor beat the real undisputed champion
wether or not they werent clean wins
where there is no doubt he is better
than hopkins but he still won both fights

so he is the true champion
he beat ouma and drew with winky
those 4 fights is better than
mostly every other champions last 4 fights

All wrestlers are fake. So you cant blame John Cena. Wrestling is entertainment and show. Talking about Taylor, i dont think hes a joke. Hes a beltholder but not THE champ. Hes a good boxer though and has fought 2 of the biggest p4p boxer Hopkins and Wright and was competitive!
