Kessler wouldnt be doing much wrong if he could get names of this calibre on his cv. Kessler is certainly a credible opponent for JOe, but jOE would get more credit for beating Kessler if Kessler had names like EUbank and Lacy tppe calibre people on his cv, and beat them.

froch is overrated.....i csant see him even being competitve with joe or kessler.... and i think manfredo would beat him, though thats probably because i dont liike the guy(because he is so overrated)

Not interested in the comment regarding Manfredo (I dont think that its true though). Am much more interested in seeing how Froch is planning on making himself mandatory contender for Calzaghe's crown.

Froch is a smart guy, he's really putting himself into a good position. I just hope that he doesnt manage it before Calzaghe gets the chance to unify against Kessler. I cant imagine for a moment that Calzaghe would vacate the title that he has defended for over 10 years. But I dont think that Calzaghe would get much credit outside of the UK if he beat Froch before fighting Kessler, however Kessler would be a much more difficult opponent in a year for Calzaghe (due to Kessler's development and Calzaghe's age), whereas by the time Joe has fought Kessler, Froch will likely be a much more proven and credible opponent.

I can just imagine Froch getting to the mandatory contender stage, Calzaghe having to fight him to keep his reign/defences record going and then everyone pouring scorn on him for putting off a super-fight with Kessler (ie 'ducking' him) to fight another 'unproven British nobody'.

Hmm i wouldn't call him overated, maybe by himself but not by the media or fans. He would give both Calz and Kessler very hard fights probably dropping decisions in both but he would have manfredo for breakfast.
