Why is sergio hated so much??

Yeah your right he should have gone through with that fight. Even if he wasn't ready he was gonna make a big payday. He may never see that much money again or have a chance at the MW Championship. Even if he would have lost, it would have been ok because thats what most of us thought anyways.

To be honest i don't like Sergio because he was on the Contender a reality show. There are better fighters out there than him. They should be getting the chance at a title. He only got the chance because his face was known.

no no copy, ive looked for it too..... it was a good fight but i def thought ishe won it... if i recall correctly one of the judges gave sergio every round... which was just ridiculous

it was @ that point it kinda dawned on me that mora was the guy that was intended to win.... firstly you knew they wanted a guy with an undefeated record and then to give him questionable decision when the judging was otherwise pretty good on the whole... not hard to put two and two together

i kind of though they wanted manfredo to win it. i could see stallone wanting an Italian to win it, and manfredo getting second place after losing twice when other guys only got one shot is kind of dumb.

I noticed Sergio Mora was disliked myself..


I for one; was very impressed with him when he was on The Contender.

He came off as an intelligent, insightful, passionate guy.

Self educated to a greater degree than most people, certainly MOST people from the rough neighborhoods of Los Angeles where he's from..

He managed to WIN the show in surprising fashion.

He even had a "Keyser Soze" moment on The Contender where he broke down Joey Gilbert... Apparently the producers of the program felt he had something there.. He had a heavy feature on that program, represented as a genius by the people who make million dollar descisons..

I got majorly choked up when he won the truck in one of the last challenges.. I was incredibly humbled that this guy had basically nothing, and literally fought his way to the top.

What the **** don't people like?

He's a credit to his people, his country, a thinker, a fighter, and a winner.

He even paid respect to Manfredo and his father when he honorably referred to them as "Italian Warriors" even when Manfredo was acting like ****ing ***** at the finale..


I don't get it..

He's a unique dude to say the least.. A million miles away from some of the characters that come out of his neighborhood.

One of the reasons I dont like sergio is becuse he plays up his "Latin Snake" role alot and its kind of annoying. I dont mind watching him fight I just thought it was weak to pass up his shot.

i agree, plushis second fight with manfredo was close and i scored it 77-75 for sergio... peter just thought making him miss was enough without attacking himself, he was landing **** punches, ive disliked manfredo a little since then, he acted like a *****...(to those who say it was a robbery, watch it again without sound and score it, particular attention in rounds 2, 4, 6, 7 and 8)

yea anyone who knows boxing knows sergio mora aint ****.. He did get beat in that rematch to manfredo. as for the brinkley fight, being a 7 rounder instead of more benefited him. He declined a fight with taylor because he knows how badly he will get exposed for how crappy he is... Many nobodies can beat him, taylor would mess him up..

Mora's a punk who gave up a lifetime opportunity to fight for the middleweight championship of world and a chance to make a million dolllars. It was a no-lose situation for him. The guy's got no balls, IMO.
