Edwin Valero Targets Juan M. Marquez To Unify

Should undefeated WBA super featherweight champion Edwin Valero successfully defend his title against No.2 ranked former OPBF champion Nobuhito Honmo in a triple world title fight card in Tokyo on May 3, a unification title fight against newly crowned WBC champion Juan Manuel Marquez may take place once again effectively preventing Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao from facing the most exciting fighters in megabuck showdowns. This would be a great fight. Edwin Valero is an incredible fighter, IMO, and I just hope he has the chance to prove it. Marquez is a superb fighter, too, and I wouldnt be sure which way this would go. It would be difficult for it to happen in the States though as Valero is banned from boxing there.

This would be a very interesting fight. A master boxer against a really untested guy. Though anything could happen cause JMM's chin isn't the best. Valero could blast through him or JMM could school him badly and outright embarass him. I'd love to see it. 2 completely contrast styles going at it.

Ill be satisfied with any of the fights at 130 as long as they are between the top guys. They are all good and exciting fighters.

I would love to see this fight happen I been wanting to see what valero would do against a Elite fighter, thats so sad for paquiao if this happens because once again he's in the outside looking in! I still ask myself why the hell did he sign with top Rank?

I could pick Valero against Pac because Pac is not technically proficient. Against JMM, tho, I think Valero will bite off more than he can chew.

              JMM UD.

This would be an interesting fight that would probably take place in Japan. In the fights I have seen Valero in he seems extremely raw. A fight with JMM would be a mistake in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I would like to see it and Valero would always have that puncher's chance, but against JMM who can punch and box I think he is going to be rudely exposed.

JMM will expose Valero, might even knock him out.
