43 year old Henry Maske returned to boxing with an incredible win. Maske hadn't fought for ten years since losing his IBF light heavyweight title to Virgil Hill. It was the same Virgil Hill, reigning WBA cruiserweight champion, that Maske defeated on points last night. It was an amazing comeback by a man that had made 11 defences of his title in the 90's, against men like Iran Barkley, Grachiano Rochiggiani and our very own John Scully. It's rare that a fight between two 43 year olds excites, but last night was the exception that proves the rule as Maske turned the clock back to comprehensively outbox the seemingly ageless Hill.

i dont think he outboxed anybody. I thought hill won the fight by a couple of points.

still amazing that an argument can be made that he won the fight.
