Tarver is a good fighter but he depend on his straight right too often.

the amateur Tarver is much more exciting than his fight with Roy Jones 2 and 3rd because he throws combo

It's good that Tarver is back and great to have boxing on network T.V. again but could the IBO have found a lil better selection of opponent? They should just mail Tarver the belt now..........

Tarver could have been one of the top fighters in the sports today but I just dont think he has that killer instinct. IF he wold just come forward and throw more punches he would be one of the most unstoppable fighters around. I hate the guy but I think he would cream calzaghe if they were to fight

same as my though he got some of the stuff and power but not the combo and killer instinct.

hope he listens more to Buddy McGurit or get another trainer that will displine him more because i think Tarver hunger is gone anyway
