In that case, why are you talking like a fat yank for?

As for the fight, I don't even have that much of a ****ing opinion on it... I only saw it at the time, haven't seen it since, but had the impression (at the time) Reid won. I stand to be corrected on this, but there you go... that's all.

Then why are you talking like you had a certain slanted opinion on the fight for?

I guess we both were expecting things which weren't true, but there you go.... that's all.

Since when has Hank Wharton been a mock contender? If he was around today he'd clear out the division.

Most definately, he's the most underrated super middleweight of the 1990's, am I right or am I right, Geoff?

Wharton was well past his prime when he lost to Reid.

He fought Eubank when he was in his prime and did surprisingly well, though.

Most would say he was the most over-rated, but he just froze against Benn and Eubank on that night would of beaten anybody.

                  That's absolute crap, sir.

And Eubank that year would have beaten anyone. Brilliant, he was.

Who the **** is this clown?

Most expected Wharton to beat Eubank, who looked shot to pieces in getting gifts against Amaral and Schommer (and also looked rubbish against Close and Storey that year). No single pundit predicted Eubank would win if it went 12.

Personally I think Wharton was at his best in about '91, when he was punching guys clean out of the ring and Nigel Benn wanted nothing to do with him (when challenged on who was the most exciting puncher in Britain).

Nobody gave Reid much chance, though. Like they never gave him a chance against Nardiello either.
