Even though Floyd might be the quicker of the two and have better boxing skills all around. He could win the fight boxing all night long and running, but that wouldn't be enough for a lot of his doubters. He has to be exciting and dominating at the same time and take chances. Against De La Hoya that might not be the best strategy. So in the end i hope the fight lives up to half the expections.

          What about the rematch?

Many people bring this up about the 1st fight with Castillo, and yes it was, arguably, Floyd's toughest fight. But, many also neglect to mention the 2nd fight which Castillo lost unanimously.

Floyd fought the rematch to quell any doubts about his abilities. Did Castillo have an off night in the rematch or was Floyd superior on that day?

Other fighters would simply have chosen to forego the rematch to fight a less dangerous fighter, unless it was a mandatory.

          See Leonard - Duran 1 & 2.

I don't think he cares too much about his doubters. He already thinks he's the best ever.

that's his problem big time, i mean there is nothing wrong with that....
i don't care what anybody says he can't compare to SRR, SRL, hearns, duran or even haggler no matter who he fights, and im not hating on floyd i think he is talented but against los skilled opposition, that's the difference......
this is actually the first time i've been beting against floyd....
his time has come, im sorry but he will be embarrassed, the truth hurts,
what i like the most he can't back out now, lol

Neither will hang em up after this fight. Too much money for both to make. Oscar could lose 2 or 3 in a row and some people (not me) will still order his pay per view.
