Hopefully Golota realizes that his time is short and attempts to make the most of it. I really need to see Vitali fight Golota, I won't be satisfied until I see that. As heavyweight boxing fans, we have been shafted time and time again. I wanted to see a prime Bowe vs Lewis, Tyson vs Tua, Ibeabuchi vs Tyson but it will never happen. Even though Golota is not in his prime his mindset may be at it's prime which is good enough for me.

i dont see how a guy who can't beat a fringe contender(GRANT), is going to unify the titles....

Byrd posed no real threat to golota, A bench press means nothing when it comes to punching......

Everytime golota folds it is against a heavy puncher.....(RUIZ ISNT nor is Byrd) but it isnt like tyson carried the mental edge either...

So that leaves Vitali. And after having seen the Golota/Byrd fight for the fifth time, I am more and more impressed with his skills and I think his mental volatility is a thing of the past. I think he has better skills than Vitali, and is just as strong. Odd, Golota holding all the belts, but there you go.
i think he looked mentally strong becuz he had byrd infront of him
i mean byrd is no real mental stress
hes just gonna slap his way to a victory
but if he gets in with Vit
he may have flashbacks to lewis specialy once he remember what Vit was on the verge of doin to Lewis himself
i see golota crumbling under Vits pressure

benching strength has nothin to do with punching power
its all bout technique leverage and timing
you think the lil guys like manny and R.marquez who pack huge explosive boom can bench alot?

I still dont see it, I can see the power of a punch coming from your arms to your back and the base of your legs not your chest.....

Byrd has a pretty good chin no doubt about it though....
