Joan Guzman vs Michael Katsidis set for May?

According to boxrec. seems like guzman cant get any big fights at superfeather so hes moving up again. should be a good fight if it happens. guzman should easily beat katsidis imo.

Potentially great fight while at the same time potential snoozer is Guzman runs...

Dan Rafael mentioned this fight as a possibility in his chat last week for the Golden Boy Boxing After Dark card on May 26. In Jin Chi vs. Oscar Larios would be the co-feature...another potentially great fight. I hope it gets made, but Guzman may be going up a bit too high here...

Katsidis is a good "hooker". Watched him in that Earl fight and he was battering Earl before and after being stunned by a good counter shot.

Guzman shouldn't be bothered by the size difference though because Barrios showed up 2 classes higher weight wise anyway.

I have no idea why Guzman can't get a big fight. It befuddles me, this guy is undefeated with P4P skills.

This is a one sided fight, Katsidis is strong but not strong enough, I pick Guzman via embarrassment.

i know its a shame a quality fighter like guzman cant get his shot. i thought he was still in his 20's but i just noticed hes already 31 years old! he needs the big fights soon.

He probably doesn't get any fights because he is dangerous and not Golden Boy's top priority.

If Guzman were to go toe to toe with Katsidis, that fight would instantly become a classic, but he’d be an idiot to do that.

He’d win these fight anyway, he’d box rings rounds Kats all night and pick an easy UD.
