I am doing a project on boxing and its international operations. Maybe some old-timers can help me. Here are some things I am interested in. This is more from a governing body's standpoint, not a 'who's who among European boxers'.
1) How do governing bodies do business differently in Europe/foreign areas compared to the U.S?
2) How does Ring Magazine affect boxing internationally?
3) How are fight events promoted/run different in other countries?
Anything else you can think of about how boxing has expanded internationally over time (history), and how things are done in Europe compared to here would be helpful.
