    Castillo/ Casamayor

from **********.com: October 12, 2004 - Just minutes ago reliable sources close to the situation informed **********.com that on December 4 Showtime Championship Boxing will televise an exciting lightweight match up between WBC lightweight champion Jose Luis Castillo and former junior lightweight champ Joel "El Cepillo" Casamayor. The network was originally trying to make Castillo-Corrales but when terms could not be reached, Castillo-Casamayor immediately came to the forefront. Cedric Kushner, who along with Team Freedom promotes Casamayor, confirmed to ********** that the fight was in the works and when asked if it was the clear cut frontrunner for the December Showtime date Kushner replied, "I certainly hope so." We will continue to keep you updated unitl then, Remember Where You Heard It First! (7:20 PM ET)

Casamayor is not done, he is just slowing with age. I see this going to pts. If Joel is on his game he could just nick a dec!

I see this a more difficult fight style wise for Castillo. I can see Joel outpointing Castillo over 12 close rounds. He's a southpaw also. Casamayor is not done he beat Corrales the first time and I thought he pulled out a close victory the second time. Oh yeah Corrales hasn't really tried to make a rubbermatch either.

Casa is not done in any way. His skills are starting to diminish but he still can tough it out with Castillo. I'll be pulling for Casa but I think Castillo will win by late stoppage or UD.
