funny that PACMAN is on the list, he he, but if you must put a PINOY on the list you should have put Gerry Penalosa...

i could not choose from the list, wright, hops, PBB, toney, all have GREAT defense ... i cant really choose

but if i am forced to choose, i'll probably go for PBB, he is still undefeated and so far nobody have cracked that defense ....

there are good arguments out of that list on who has the best defense. i still think that Hopkins has the best and Toney ( up until his last fight ) and Mayweather.

now the thing that seperates those guys from one another to me is that Hopkins has rarely been hit in his career period and has never had a cut inside the ring.

i know floyd and toney have been cut, but Hopkins hasn't, amongst other things you got to have a kick ass defense to go your whole career ( so far for Hopkins ) without getting a cut......................that's amazing and i think that it makes a good case and a good statement about Hopkins defense........

edit: throw winky on the list to make four top defensive fighters, winky is so low key even though he's on the list you forget about him, hahaha..............Hopkins to me has the best defense out of all of them

Best defense I've ever seen is probably PBF, yes Whitaker was great too but, Mayweather is just as good as Whitaker inside the ring but he can can also fight like prime Toney on the ropes.

In my opinion Mayweather just doesn't have have the best defense today, I think he has the best defense of all time, I've not seen anyone better defensively.

Ivan Calderon has the best D. I stick by that.

Mayweather...He has all the defensive skills of the other choices. But is more fleet-footed...Hopkins would be a very close second though IMO.
