Yes his handspeed was great, but that's the last speed to go. His footspeed and movement has slowed significantly, that and he doesn't put combinations together while hopping around like he used too. Now it's "bodyshot, move and faint a little, flick out a jab, faint some more and bodyshot again".

Roy Jones was considered P4P #1 for many years. He had a bad run with Tarver and Johnson - however I do think he looked impressive in his last fight and could still beat most people out there from 175 down. Saying that Jermain Taylor is becoming one the most disrespected champions for choosing to fight Roy Jones is a very unfair statement.

Hopkins Twice, Winky Wright, Kassim Ouma

Besides Manny Pacqiauo, I can't think of a champion with a better list of recent opponents then that... Can't think of one that evens comes close to that...

This fight is not happening, I will not waste my time talking about a fight that is not happening.

another boring safe fight for Taylor. Taylor is quickly becoming the least respected champion in boxing.
Let me see, least respected! 2 fights with Hopkins, 1 fight with Wright, 1 fight with Ouma, 1 fight with the current 154 lb champ Spinks.

First of all this Jones fight will never happen but if it did I'm pretty sure Taylor can make more money fighting Jones then he can fighting Miranda 2 different times!

I will not pay for this fight. It'd better be free on HBO and not like that **** fight Roy had against the Badi guy. Just a nice paycheck against a name guy for Taylor. Hopefully he will retire Roy though.

Roy is "semi-shot",but if he fought an incredibly cautious fight,I could see him pulling off a UD.He still has speed & ring smarts.
