I think Joe would beat Taylor, and beat him probably by late Knock out. Joe would wear him out, outwork him and in the later rounds start to land more and more until Taylor could not take it anymore.

Jermain Taylor is a very basic fighter, he's just real strong and has a good jab.
Calzaghe would outwork him and beat him on points.

Has there been a fighter who had Taylor hurt?

If Winky can **** with him and be the agressive, i bet for sure Joe also can. Only this time both his eyes will be closed.

But Pacman can pressure you like nobody else, he's fast, hits hard, and has good stamina.
Taylor has none of those qualities.

Jumping to the conclusion that Calzaghe could easily handle Taylor would be impulsive.
Calzaghe beat Jeff Lacy, and some other men of reasonable, and higher note.
Taylor has fought Bernard Hopkins and Winky Wright.
At the very least; the most astute of us could see how badly he frustrated two movie horror villians like them.
He was actually considered victor by some of the community in all bouts.
Jermain Taylor is a piece of crap to watch for my money.. I'd rather watch Animal Planet. But I wouldn't say that to his face.. I still respect him.
He has a better resume than any conclusion should jump past.
I wouldn't pick Calzaghe without a LOT of soul searching..
Maybe not even then.
But I do like Calzaghe's style on Taylor's..

Im not a Joe Cal fan I think he has a padded record and has fought no one but lets face it he is the best 168 pound fighter on the planet.
Now with that said Joe Cal is bigger, stronger and faster than JT.
Joe Cal would give JT a boxing lesson unless Manny Steward and JT can pull out the game plan of a life time and KO Joe Cal.
